Bally and Aristocrat to Offer Internet Poker

March 7, 2012

Poker players in the US will be treated to a new online poker network, once online gambling is legalized in the country. Aristocrat Technologies and Bally Technologies, which provide software for slot machines and casino management, have come together to develop a world-class online poker network. The companies have come to an agreement to offer a single third-party network along with the other business-to-business (B2B) solutions they provide to casino operators. With this deal, Bally and Aristocrat aim at providing some of the best online poker products that are especially designed for the US market.

What to expect from the partnership

Both Bally and Aristocrat are reputed names in the US gaming industry. Recently, Bally Technologies had acquired the iGaming platform from Chillgaming and Aristocrat has joined hands with GameAccount Network.

By teaming up, the two companies will be enabling casino operators in the US to access some of the best online poker applications. According to the deal, the companies will be associating their iGaming platforms with some of the best poker providers in the country. By integrating their gaming platforms and the back-end solutions, Bally and Aristocrat will enable gaming operators to offer their appealing poker games through a reliable and faster network. This will improve the functionality of the sites and improve the players’ online poker experience.

The agreement will also allow gaming operators to enjoy the flexibility of choosing top poker applications from multiple vendors from across the world. Also, after legalization of online gambling in the US, the companies have plans to deploy their slot machine content online. But until then, poker products on this network will be available for free play.

What this means for poker players

Like thousands of online poker fans in the US, Bally and Aristocrat are also hoping for legalization of online gambling in the US. Once the online gambling bill is passed, poker players across the country will be able to enjoy top-quality poker games on the new network offered by these companies. Bally and Aristocrat are licensed interactive gaming providers in Nevada, and have applied for an extending their licenses to other states. Once the network is up and running, poker players will be able to enjoy the game without worrying about the legal issues.
