Super satellites for WPT Main Event

Starting May 16, a series of super satellites for the WPT Championship event will keep the Bellagio Poker room buzzing. All the satellite events offer guaranteed seats to the Main Event, which will begin at 12:00 pm on Saturday, May 19. The main event will continue till May 26, alongside a few other side-events.

The super satellite tournaments you can participate in have buy-ins of $2,620. There will be 2 satellite events on May 16, one on May 17, two on May 18 and one on May 19. In all these events, the top players will be given away free seats to the Main Event. There is no cap yet on the number of seats being rewarded. So if you are good at the game, be there and try to end up in the list of top few players to win your place at the main event.

Five Star WPT side-events

Besides the Main Event, there will be other events you can participate in at the Bellagio. Here is the schedule of the remaining WPT events for you.

1. On May 17, you can participate in the $5,180 no-limit Hold’em event. This event will last for 3 days. Similar events will also take place on May 21, 22  and 24.

2. On may 23, you can take part in the No limit Hold’em Super High Roller WPT event. This event has a buy-in of $100,000 and will take place for three days.

3. The last side-event of the WPT will be the $1080 NLH event, which takes place on May 25

The Main Event, the WPT Championship event, starts on may 19 and will go on for 8 days, till May 26, when the final table will be played.

Bellagio Casino

The Bellagio poker room is one of the best places to play poker in Vegas. If you can make it to the casino for WPT event, there is nothing like it. But don’t lose heart if you cant. The poker room at the Bellagio casino is the hub for the best poker games and tournaments that are sure to make you happy. The casino hosts a number of daily and weekly tournaments and gives away hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash. Until now the buy-ins for poker events have never crossed a few thousand dollars. The million dollar buy-in has set a new record in the poker industry. Regional satellite games offer players a chance to enter the big event without bringing down their bankrolls by a million dollars.

For those who do not have a million dollars to spare, the only way to enter the event is to participate in the satellite tournaments. A number of live regional satellite events have been announced by the WSOP. These will take place in big casinos across the nation. The buy-in for these step satellite live poker tourneys may be as low as sixty-five dollars. Additionally, a mega satellite with $25,300 buy-in will take place on the 30^th of June at Rio Casino inLas Vegas.

For players having limited bankrolls, regional satellite tournament is the first step to enter the big event. Players will have to visit land based casinos hosting these events to participate. The Bicycle Casino located in Los Angeleshosted the first satellite event on the 5^th of April. The buy-in for the tournament was set at $535. Nine more regional satellite events will be hosted across theUS this month. The schedule for regional satellites for the month of May is as follows.

Regional satellites will continue though the month of June. On the 3^rd of June a tournament will be hosted by the Lodge Casino in Colorado, while Horseshoe Tunica in Mississippi and the Horseshoe Bossier City in Louisiana will host satellites on the 10^th of June.

With a million dollar buy-in, the Big One for One Drop event is all set to go down as a milestone in the poker tournament history. Apart from making history, the big event will also facilitate easy access to water across the globe. From every buy-in, 11.11% will be donated to charity. While the organizers are hopping for a large number of million dollar buy-ins, they have ensured that players from all levels have a chance to participate though satellites.

New VIP rewards from Titan Poker

The VIP program at Titan Poker has been upgraded such that it benefits all kinds of players on the site. Whether you are a professional poker player, an amateur or just a casual visitor on the site, the new VIP rewards program has something for you. From May 1, the poker room has started providing VIP incentives under its Monthly Cash and Titan Treasures promos. Bronze level – Player who register with Titan Poker will automatically fall under this level, and remain here till they earn more than 2000 points. At this level, you can participate in the $250 freeroll and will automatically get the monthly cash reward

Copper level – Players with 2001 to 2999 points will be in this level and can participate in the weekly $500 freeroll and the VIP SNG. Monthly cash rewards are given on request for this and all further levels.

Silver level – This is the third highest VIP level and is for members who have earned at least 3000 points. At this level, you would be eligible for the Weekly $1000 and $500 freerolls and also the VIP SNGs. To move to the next level, you have to earn more than 4,999 points.

Gold level – Members whose points tally is between 5000 and 14999 are in this level. Along with the VIP SNG, and the $1000 and $500 freerolls, gold members can participate in the $5000 freeroll too.

Titanium level – This is the highest level for members having 15,000 or more points. Titanium members can participate in all VIP freerolls and also in the $5k Gladiator Race.

Any player who earns more than 100,000 points in 3 months goes up to the Annual Diamond level and enjoys benefits through the year.  To benefit from this program, register with Titan Poker and start playing cash games on the site. For every $1 you spend towards rake in cash games, you will earn 15 points and for $1 on tournament fee, you will earn 17 points. The more number of points you earn, the better the rewards will be for you.

Event Schedule

The Partouche Poker Tour final leg will take place from September 3 to September 9, 2012 at the Palm Beach Casino’s poker room. The Partouche final is one of the most popular poker events that take place in Cannes and has a prize pool of 5 million euros. The Main Event has a buy-in of €8,500 and a re-entry on Day 1B, which is on September 4. It will be a seven day event and will continue through September 9, when the final table will be played for the 5 million euro prize. Re buys and add-ons are not allowed in this event.

The High Roller event of the Partouche Poker Tour will be on September 7, at 6:00 pm. The event has a buy-in of €25,000 and will span over three days. Other events with higher buy-ins include the €5,000 Partouche Poker Tour heads Up tournament on September 6, the €3,000 no-limit Hold’em event on September 5 and the €2,000 No Limit Hold’em Six-max event on September 8, 2012. The remaining side events during the festival are as follows.

ñ     €300 No limit Hold’em turbo events on September 3, 4, 5 and 8.

ñ     €510 Bounty NLH event on September 4

ñ     A Pot limit Omaha Eight-Max event on September 4, with a buy in of €1000, and a PLO tournament for €500 on September 7

ñ     a NLH event on September 5, and a Deep Stack NLH on September6. Both the events have a buy-in of €500. A similar NLH event also takes place on September 8

ñ     the Partouche Ladies event with a buy-in of €550 is on September 7. This will be a two day event and continue on September 8 too.

ñ     A €1500 no limit Hold’em event will also take place on September 7, at 9:00 pm

Satellites

Satellites are a part of the Partouche Poker Tour. Between June 29 and July 1, the Super Satellites for the €8,500 Main Event will take place at the Forges-Les-E aux Casino in France. These events will be giving away free entry to the Main Event in September. Palm Beach Casino is also hosting Main Event satellites on September 2, a day before the event begins. For a chance to win the big prizes in France, you should start planning your trip to Cannes without delay.

Daily Dollar Rake Chase

The WSOP promo at PKR  is called the Daily Dollar Rake Chase. To qualify for the $4500 WSOP packages offered through this, you need to register with PKR poker. If you are already a member at the site, start playing cash games on the site and spend a minimum of $1 on at least 35 days from now to June 10. This will help you qualify for the promotion. If you are a new customer, you can use the bonus code when you register and spend at least $2 on 20 days before June 10.

WSOP satellites by PKR

There is another way of winning the $4500 WSOP package from PKR, and that is through the satellites that the site offers. PKR poker is hosting WSOP satellites starting from as low as $1. You can start off with the entry level qualifiers and move your way up each level, or you can simply buy-in to the final qualifier and win to get the WSOP package.

Stage 1 - If you are an existing member of PKR, you can use 1200 of your player points to enter the first stage qualifier. Or you could simply buy-in with $2.64.

Quarterfinal - If you win in the first stage, you will move on to the quarterfinal. If you don’t, you can always buy-in to it for $11.70. Top players in the quarter final will move on to the next stage.

Semi final – You can enter the semi final by winning the quarter final or through a buy-in of $53.50.
